Commercial Policies

Last updated September 1, 2026

Note: these are DuoTech’s standing commercial terms. Your order confirmation or signed supply agreement controls where it differs from this page.

Shipping

  • Small equipment and consumables ship by insured parcel carrier from our US warehouse, typically within 2 business days of payment for stocked items.
  • Large equipment (beds, cabins, chairs, consoles) ships as palletised freight. Quotes state kerbside delivery by default; liftgate and inside delivery are available and priced at quoting. Someone must be present to receive and sign.
  • Inspection at delivery. Count packages and note any visible damage on the delivery receipt before signing. A clean signature limits everyone’s ability to claim against the carrier — write it down first, then sign.
  • Lead times shown in the catalogue are working estimates per line: stocked items in 1–4 weeks, production orders in 30–75 days. Your order confirmation states the committed window for your specific order; if production slips beyond it, we tell you as soon as we know, with a revised date.

Returns

  • Retail equipment may be returned within 30 days of delivery if unused, uninstalled, and in original packaging. Outbound freight is not refunded and a 15% restocking fee applies. Contact us for a return authorisation before shipping anything back — unauthorised returns cannot be accepted at the dock.
  • Consumables are not returnable once the carton seal is broken, for hygiene reasons; sealed cartons may be returned within 30 days less freight.
  • Wholesale orders are made or allocated against your PO and are not returnable, except under the warranty and transit-damage terms below.
  • Transit damage reported per the shipping section is replaced or repaired at our cost and is never subject to restocking fees.

Warranty

  • Equipment carries a written DuoTech warranty of 12 months from delivery; some lines carry 24 months on specific assemblies as stated in the catalogue. The warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal professional use.
  • Claims are handled in the US: email a description and photos or video of the fault to inquiries@duotechequipments.com. We diagnose remotely first; confirmed defects are resolved by shipped replacement parts, depot repair, or unit replacement at our election.
  • The warranty does not cover consumable wear items, cosmetic wear, damage from incorrect supply voltage or unapproved modifications, or faults from use outside the supplied operating instructions.
  • This warranty gives you specific legal rights; you may also have other rights that vary by state. Nothing here limits rights that cannot lawfully be limited.

Wholesale terms

  • Minimum order quantities are published per line in the catalogue and hold as written; we do not quote below MOQ.
  • Pricing is by written quote or line sheet, valid 30 days from issue. Tiered pricing applies per order, not cumulatively across orders, unless a supply agreement says otherwise.
  • Payment is 50% deposit at PO, balance before shipment. After three completed orders, established accounts may move to net-30 by written agreement.
  • Freight terms for wholesale orders are DDP to your dock by default, with FOB origin available on request; the quote states which applies.
  • Private label runs require artwork approval in writing before production, and label content remains the buyer’s regulatory responsibility where the buyer’s brand appears.
  • Cancellations of production orders after the spec freeze are subject to costs already incurred, up to the deposit.

Certifications and regulatory notes

Devices are sourced against recognised electrical safety standards, and available test reports or certificates for a given SKU are supplied with quotes. We do not represent any device as FDA cleared, UL listed, or otherwise certified unless that specific document is in your quote pack. Buyers operating under clinical or local licensing regimes are responsible for confirming a device meets their jurisdiction’s requirements before ordering — we will help with paperwork, but we won’t guess at it.
